This latest map shows the safest places to be Trans in Europe.

** Remember that Trans is also an umbrella term, often used by those questioning their gender identity **

Where is it safest to be Transgender?

This map illustrates how trans people are protected across different areas of life. The darker the colour, the higher the level of protection.

Russia – where among the anti-LGBTQ+ laws in the books is a ‘gay propaganda’ policy – was bottom of the pile, falling from five in 2023 to zero.
